A cold, grey day up on the hills, a couple of weeks ago. Flynn always enjoys it up there, no matter the weather - lots of interesting new sniffs to sniff - & in a few places on the way, there are also sheep to watch but NOT to chase (no matter how much they’re asking for it).
#flynn is mostly OK around sheep but he IS a border collie from working lines & sometimes if they see us & run he just can't quite resist#doing a little *bounce* at them - to hurry them on their way!#which is why he is always always always on a lead whenever we might encounter livestock!!#luckily once we're properly up on the hills there aren't any sheep so he can run free again#flynn#border collie#dog#hills#england#winter

sorry i’ve been quiet these last couple of weeks!! august has been a weird one (for a lot of people i think. nothing particularly wrong, just felt a little… off?). but i’m still here, promise <3

2 more episodes to finish the season and 10 more rows to finish the body 👍
#it will probably take about 4 episodes for the body part to be done#bc im not knitting super fast cause im not in a hurry and i dont want my arms to hurt#also im at the ribbing part so i need to watch the pattern video to make sure i know what im doing#and then when im done with that part I'll do the neck ribbing bc i saw someone say that you should do that before you finish your sleeves#because it might affect the way the sweater sits and your sleeves will end up the wrong length#but then I'll only have 1.5 sleeves left and the sweater will be done!#maybe i will get to wear it this winter#if it ever gets cold again bc weve been going outside in tshirts lately#anyway knitting with a somewhat thick yarn and circular needles is so much fun it goes by so quickly#jo says stuff#personal ramblings
